SPORTS THERAPY AND MENTAL PERFORMANCE
Revelation Sports Therapy & Training offers mental health and performance services built around athletes. Every service here is led by Dr. Ayodeji, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of clinical experience and a real athletic background.

Mental Health Therapy for Athletes
Mental health support for athletes goes beyond breathing exercises and positive thinking. Dr. Ayodeji and his team work through the real stuff: anxiety before and during competition, depressive episodes tied to performance or identity, the mental toll of injury recovery, and what to do when a slump goes on too long.
Performance anxiety in athletes can show up before a game, during competition, or in longer patterns like a shooting slump that will not break. Depression in athletes is just as real and just as treatable, even though athletes are often expected to push through it.

— Mental performance coaching
Sports mental performance coaching
Mental performance coaching is about building the mental skills that show up on game day. Focus, composure under pressure, pre-game routines, confidence that holds up after a mistake. The difference here is that Dr. Ayodeji is a licensed clinician, not just a coach, which means he can recognize when a performance issue has a clinical root.
This service is available virtually to any athlete in Connecticut.
— ATHLETIC SKILLS TRAINING
Athletic Skills Training (Hartford County)
In addition to therapy and mental performance work, Revelation offers in-person athletic skills training within Hartford County. This is where the mind-and-body approach becomes literal. Dr. Ayodeji can conduct clinics and individual sessions.
This service is available in person only. Hartford County athletes and programs can reach out to learn more.

Why being licensed matters
Most mental performance coaches are not licensed clinicians. Dr. Ayodeji is, which means he can bill sessions through insurance and provide clinical-level support when it is needed. He holds a Master's and Doctorate in Social Work and has been licensed since 2012.
